Family awareness in the pre-legal dispute stage involves guidance and counseling to avoid family setbacks and build a healthy family based on sound foundations and principles for continuity and stability in married life. One of the most important issues that electronic media seeks to achieve at this stage is its preventive role, which is represented by raising family awareness. This is achieved through a variety of mechanisms and means that can combat or reduce the breakdown of marital relationships, in addition to providing guidance and awareness messages for those about to get married. Thus, through this research, we aim to address the relationship between information and communications technology and the family in general, highlighting the positives of this technology for the family by activating its role in resolving family disputes and issuing useful recommendations for personal status law, drawing on the experience of the United Arab Emirates in this regard.
