Technology affects transnational legal relations, as it has led to an increase in the number of transnational lawsuits related to civil liability arising from cybercrimes, which imposes new challenges on the law, especially private international law. This area of law studies the issues of applicable jurisdiction and the choice of applicable law. This research aims to identify the existing policies and normative frameworks for determining applicable jurisdiction and the choice of law in relation to civil liability arising from cybercrimes. The laws of the texts of the laws will be analyzed to what extent they are appropriate for this development. Through an analytical methodology, our analysis focuses on issues related to jurisdiction, i.e. the court competent to hear these disputes, and the applicable law, i.e. the law that can be applied to legal relations with a foreign element.
